The 30 truths are continued.
19. As you venture through life honour God and be grateful for the gifts He gives you. Don’t look at those who hate God and seem to have so much more than you. You don’t need the godlessness that rules their lives. And they will never have as much as you have in Jesus.
20. Remember a good life takes wisdom and understanding. Make these your values. The foundation on which you build your character. Deepen that character with knowledge to guide your life decisions. Never forget, wisdom is worth more than brute strength.
21. Use your wisdom and intelligence that God gave you when deciding your life’s direction. And seek wise Counsel.
22. Be wary of the person who tells you learning and knowledge are bad. That person is a fool. I have known many Christians over the years who resent knowledge because they do not have it themselves. They never read the Bible, preferring instead to read a book purchased from a Christian book shop. The buy the books that tell them what they want to hear and ignore the truth of the Bible. They play at asking God for advice, but instead they listen to the words of others and do not ask God. That is not how God wants you to be. That is not wisdom.
23. And remember those who scheme against others are not serving God. Their reputation will become one of a schemer and troublemaker. Remember, the foolish person incubates sin and the cynic seeks to destroy and desecrate beauty. Goodness and beauty are worthy, wise things and God honours them. So seek to honour them too.
